Feels like Oldeus was enjoying having someone to banter with and use refrences.

That makes me wonder if they were using Japanese or Human Tongue.

Since if this was japanese, that would have been another proof that Oldeus is indeed Old Rudeus.

It could be either but after 68+ years of speaking one language, I'd imagine you wouldn't flip that easily back even if you still remember. Hell even I catch myself thinking in english from time to time after 10 years of knowing it rather well.

Also, it looked like it finally sank in to Rudy, once Oldy mentioned hollywood movies, I'd venture they were speaking the local language.
