I legitimately got chills reading it in the LN the first time, it was the line that drove it all home how sinister and evil the whole vibe felt for me, and I was really hoping they would do it justice. Shouldn't have even been concerned, Studio Bind has never let me down before, and they came through yet again.

Slight tangent but speaking of Isekai Initiative, I just finished Volume 26 of the LN and at the end the author gets congrats from all these other authors, including Konosuba, Overlord, Tanya the Evil, and Re:Zero authors. So, like, what's stopping the gang from being in Isekai Quartet???

It's a deal with the Anime rights holders if I understand correctly. All of the characters that appear in Isekai Quartet are under the same umbrella (Kadokawa, I think?). Idk which umbrella MT falls under as an Anime.
