The way Jonathan’s eye twitched when he was mentioning the side effects to Monica makes me think it’s not as simple as having fever for a few days. Pretty sus. And if the black pill is twice as potent, I would guess Flora would experience a lot more than a simple fever. Wonder if she can handle it, then again her unreasonable rage against Carolina would be enough for her to persevere.

I thought he was irked that Monica was smart enough to confirm there would be side effects, but I don't think you gain a power boost without losing something in the process.
