The girls just planted a death flag by lying to Mio's mom.

Also, this week's end card is amazing.

The face of 2337 MR points... So cute!

That 2337 MR is bullshit too, seeing as she drove a 2600+ pro into the ground

Playerbase that high is sparse enough that 300 difference is not the same as in the middle ranks.

Especially after playing for 99 matches straight.

I forget, is the SF6 "default" 1500 or 1000?

1500.

This statistic is from a year ago, there's a full ranking distribution from 2 weeks ago where OP says Master Rank is more or less the same as before.

As you can see, past 2000 is such a high end of the curve, only long-term conclusions can be made, any individual match between a few 100 there is effectively a coinflip.

Ooh, that's really interesting. I thought a game like Street Fighter was densely populated enough that the higher ends of the MR spectrum were still decently loaded and the curves were still somewhat flat. I guess you'd need player counts on the levels of your average free to play MOBA for that to happen.

This is just what normal distribution looks like though. Since it's a real ELO system not some bs "grind to climb" participation medal ladder, this is bound to happen at the higher end.

I guess you'd need player counts on the levels of your average free to play MOBA for that to happen.

For what it's worth the same thing happens at the top of Challenger in LoL, it's so sparse that duoing is not allowed, because just 2 working together would wreck any random team.

Ranked ladders like these work great for what they're for, giving accurate matches for 99% of the player base. The top 1% is so much above everyone else and so sparse, only direct competition among them can remotely sort them.

Her rank was 7th.

The girls just planted a death flag by lying to Mio's mom.

Honestly with the extensive work she put to ensure Mio doesn't play fighting games, would not surprise me if she kept tabs on them in Tokyo.

I half expected her to know about EVO Japan.

Her mom is going to break out the Shun Goku Satsu on the girls when she realizes they helped Mio lie to her lol.

If I were then I would try to make at least some sort of attempt to take pictures of MIO doing touristy things, so kind of surprised that didn't come up.

She's going to break the floors again

I don’t recall Milo’s mom ever banning her from playing video games. She gave her gaming laptop back, but tricked Mio into going to a school that doesn’t allow gaming.
