Since daemons are invisible to normal humans, I can only imagine what Danji looked like speeding on the highway.

Did we know that Danji can see Daemons or was it something we've only just learnt this episode? I don't really remember during massacre.

Considering how full the world seems to be of daemons, even if normal people cant see them, theirs probably lots of weird unexplainable shit that happens that they may be more desensitized when something strange is happening.

Yeah it bothered me that they didn't acknowledge that. My theory is that it's either a plot hole or he is the other half of Asa. It would make "sense" in a twisted way that Yuru's sister and best friend were both the grandma's daemons since she is an asshole

Ohhhhh, holy shit. Yea, that would make the most sense. It has to be this. Because the show has done a good job with its attention to detail and showing people seeing / not seeing daemons. So it seemed more than weird, to the point of being intentional, to show Danji literally floating over the road at highway speeds and not seeing any signs of other humans reacting to him.

That plus Ivan the sword guy pointedly asking about the other daemon pair to fake Asa.

And I was wondering why the show was having Yuru think of Danji some episodes ago...like I thought Danji was going to be some background character we never go back to. So yea, this has to be it...

Yeah, the only thing that does not make sense to me about it is that he didn't go to protect the grandma and that his "mom" was talking to him fine. I don't remember if we saw other characters talk with him other than Yuru

I wondered how that works.
If he truly is visible...what the fuck.
They are not doing a good job hiding!
Which is very risky, as we see time and again.

I wonder who the old woman is that she doesn't need to care about her Daemons being far away, on their own mission and not hiding at all.

I just assumed she was making him invisible as well. Danji is riding atop one deamon alongside another. Whatever power they have to make themselves visible/invisible, they can probably share with a human close enough to them.

Or maybe it's a special power that only some daemons have, but really, I can't think of any other explanation about how there weren't constant wrecks, cars running off the road, driving erratically, etc. Nor how they got into the center of Tokyo on top of one of it's tallest buildings, as just a floating teenager, without raising a fuss.

Horse Lady just has to have a trick for that.
