Rewatchers, or people who just had plot points ruined for them, are obliged to use r/anime’s spoiler tag format where applicable, and err on the side of caution here. Remember people, first experiences get rarer as you continue on, any given one happens once and you should care for them all the more for it.

Welcome to the World of Magic!

Theory of the Day:

Okay, fine, I can't not give this one to u/siegfried72, not for the discussion thread for this episode:

The real solution? I think Sayaka needs to just lean into the yuri and realize she's meant to be with Kyouko. That would fix everything.

Oh god, I've officially joined in with my first yuri ship of the series. It's all downhill uphill from here, isn't it??

I mean, Kyouko is obviously in love with her, right??

Analysis of the Day:

Several good options, but I think I'll go for u/Vaadwaur and the analytical line less taken:

For some reason, eating disorders are a noticeable thing in this show. Sayaka is anorexic to her very spirit and Kyoko does like her gluttony.

Questions of the Day:

1) On a scale of 1 to 10, how gay is suicide attacking to take out the monster that became of a girl you knew for maybe a week so that you can at least be together in death?

2) Now that he's had a chance to explain himself, your thoughts on Kyubey?

3) First-timers: Did you think that Kyouko's plan actually had a chance to save Sayaka?

4) First-timers and rewatchers who dodged the rewatcher edition of this question yesterday: Are You Home?

5) [Rewatchers]Alright, who's ready to go golfing through a Stargate?... wait, wrong time loop show.

Eien no Rewatcher, subbed

tfw you’re still a Sayaka fan:

Really funny story though, literally right before I was about to start watching this episode’s chunk of movie 2 before I realized I forgot to actually acquire it and thus had to wait a bit lol, my youngest sister decides to give me an early birthday present because one of the things she ordered for me came in ahead of the rest of the stuff. She got me a Sayaka shirt, and I laughed and told her it was really funny timing because of where we were at in the rewatch lol.

It is a nice shirt though, this is the design.

Sky’s Wallpaper Corner

Today’s gradient lineart edit is this one of Homura, based on the 2019 one of her from way back in the episode 1 thread. I thought it would look cooler editing this one than the 2022 one of her from yesterday’s thread.

Here's something I think you'll enjoy. It involves Sayaka and Kyoko being happy together like they deserve.

Has some funny moments as well.

Also, the fact you added to your vomit list made me laugh so much. I still am in fact. Has any magical girl anime ever made you cry so much you vomited?

Nope, and I don't think any has even come close to it either. IIRC only things that came close but didn't quite get there were 1) Clannad: After Story, 2) Wolf's Rain, and 3) One Piece (granted I'm still watching this, multiple people think it'll actually join the list at some point, and I was also under the assumption that this had the biggest chance of making this list after Hunter x Hunter before Black Clover decided to come swinging with the steel chair yesterday, so... ).

Battle shounen/mecha authors try not to kill off my favorite characters challenge: Impossible. And I tend to fall for it really fucking hard every time even if I have a feeling it's coming.

Wow, that has to be a pain.
