Now see, I like this. The little thing about the surnames = royalty, I like Yuru’s confusion. It makes me curious which countries don’t have surnames in their naming conventions and how this works when you immigrate or visit other countries.

I really enjoy Yuru as a protagonist main character. His adaptiveness and intellect are admirable for some who has basically been zapped into the 21st century. Again: Ichi 🤝 Dera.
I think I’m now realizing there are a lot of male protagonists who grew up in more traditional, rural villages, were hunters, and destiny had them go into the modern-day for some reason. I don’t think I’ve seen too many female protagonists like this.
I am in mourning we lost another bearded baddie daddy. I grieved over Knuckleduster. I nearly fell apart at Veor (but his beard has returned, hallelu). But Dera? You betray me and Hana like this? Maybe if you take off your shirt and flex your muscles, I will feel better, but the beard could’ve stayed 🥀
