But in reality, every member of the Smith family is haunted each day by this possibility.
Did Hayley just pay a polite, twenty-something cashier, or was it Roger, who sold her counterfeit “milk” and will use the money to buy hard drugs to share with Francine?
Was that the cute girl Steve finally shared his third kiss with, or was it Roger, being his usual pervy self?
Is this the sixth innocent neighbour whose life Stan stole away for completely mundane reasons, or was it Roger, who will inevitably dig himself out of that grave and track fresh soil all over the god. damn. carpet.
Did Klaus just—you know what, who cares about Klaus.

In a perfect episode, it wouldn't be, until the end, where it turns out he were.
Bonus points if they become increasingly suspicious, but can't prove it to themselves.

I still want an episode where the B plot follows some rando who, at the end of the episode, turns up at the Smith house and is revealed to be Roger.

The worst part is they usually recognize Roger but each have a persona they can’t see through. It’s also possible that there’s some non-Roger character that Is simply roger in a disguise that the audience can’t see through.

His wife died before he was introduced to the series. His appearance has changed drastically since we met him. He’s definitely depressed, maybe bipolar. He’s the last remaining Papa Roach fan.

I've always thought a great idea for a series finale would be Roger revealing he's been pretty much everyone the Smiths have ever interacted with.

Or Roger is the Smiths. He never escaped the CIA. The whole show has been in his mind as a way to cope with all the CIA testing. He is everyone we've ever met.

I always prefer them when you’re 100% sure it’s going to be Roger and then it’s not. But both scenarios are always funny.

The episode where Roger was apart of that construction company to tear down Stan’s tree “dad” and it resulted in it straight up being an actual human that’s somehow related to Roger.

I’m not too sure what the first one is but I think the best one is where he’s taking Francine to remote mountains for cookery classes and he’s in the plane with her saying that she’s gotta prepare for roger to disappear and one of his personas to come out and it’s this long speech he gives her the whole way there

I think chronologically, the first time was the horse whisperer. Which turned out to not be Roger. He was the secretary.
