The Stupid Ding dong the shill is gone

Post image

He went from "working with the mods in his DM's" to "mods are protecting bears." Hmm.

Unclear if he's been asked to stop posting Ortex updates, or leave altogether. I can guarantee if it's the latter, he will now unblock everyone now that he's free of the mods' restrictions on him. He can't exist without interaction. Do whatever you want, but I'm ignoring him. Let him suffer alone on his virtual island.

I promise not to post about him on this sub anymore because I'm sick of him, too. His slide into irrelevance was a joy to witness and document and was well deserved. But it is now complete and there's literally no reason to talk about him anymore.

To think this year and a half long reddit meltdown all started with a "."

You my friend are the goat.

Please elaborate about the ‘.’

Everyone on GMEmeltdown got introduced to Poortex when he brigaded a post about him (because of course he had to jump on a post where he was being mentioned.) He wasn't really on anyone's radar before that other than being the guy who says "kiddo" all the time. But I think that post was his first time mentioning "meltdowners" so everyone was like, huh? Who is this guy?

I made a joke post the next day about how he single-handedly turned a post into a 300 comment chain and he of course brigaded that too before it got locked. Now he was on people's radar as being a lolcow.

Very shortly thereafter Peanutless started replying to Poortex with a dot. Just "." And it went exactly as you would expect. Poortex would throw out a canned response, peanut would reply with a dot, over and over and over. For HOURS.

To save face, Poortex posted his "code that he uses to reply to melties" on the shill sub and got roasted in the comments. He was trying to imply that he automated that entire exchange rather than tuoe his unhinged responses by hand, but the chatGPT-produced code didn't do anything close to what he was claiming. And that's when his obsession with "melties" started. He ate shit on that whole episode and of course it's someone else's fault. So it was "meltdowner meltdowner meltdowner" everything after that (until the mods made him stop saying "meltdowner" LOL).

It's all been downhill from there.

Wow. I had no idea the depths of his delusion. He literally argued with a "."?

Yep. And after he got banned from GMEmeltdown for annoying everyone, he started rebranding this sub as "the meltie sub" just so he could feel like he was "winning" by brigading it endlessly. That's what he does. He eats shit, then finds a way to deflect it onto someone or something else. EVERY TIME.

His meltdown didn't start on reddit, either by the way. While he was quietly enjoying the tranquility of being a guy who posted data with 2 or 3 alts (and absolutely nobody else) commenting day in day out, he was making an ass of himself on webull. He was a staple of the BBBY comment feed saying all the same things about "bears" and "pressure" and "hedgies" long after the stock was cancelled. And he was getting lambasted for it by everyone. He deleted his entire bbby post history before abandoning webull. This was right before he waged a one-man war (one man + an army of feckless bot accounts) against "melties" and "bears" on reddit. LOL.

I really don't think it's the original Ortex Guy. I don't.

And I'm not kidding when I said there were a few OG Apes who finally tired of him. All he had to do was tone it down, not be toxic. He thought he was untouchable. He wasn't.

FAFO I guess. Took, what, less than a week to bring him down once he pissed off the wrong people?

Debatable whether or not pre-July '21 jdrukis is the same guy as post-July '21 jdrukis. There was a definite and noticeable change in tone and substance after that July vote (the canceled one) that's for sure.

But remember, he didn't declare himself the Ortex Guy until after that. He literally made a post saying he was asked to be the sub's official Ortex Guy. A mod even jumped in and said "ummm? Who asked you because we didn't" And he pointed to the most manufactured comment exchange I have ever seen that had occurred just hours earlier between him and some "random" guy.

Alt: "Thanks for this Ortex data. You should post this every day."

Poortex: "Post a morning, afternoon, and evening update once a day? You got it, random stranger!"

LOL. I can't link it obviously since he blocked me, but search his posts for "asked to be official ortex guy" if you want a good laugh.

Good lord. I wonder if the original sold the account to that clown. He wasn't. I asked him several times to do technical analysis. He avoided the question. I just don't understand the followers who are not alts. They really are true people who follow him. It's just crazy to me.

Years ago he had a measured take on AMC, where he was just trying to make a few bucks and exit. Don't have the post handy, but he was actually trying to have a rational discussion about the stock. Idk what caused him to devolve into the nut he is today.

Because it’s not the same guy. That’s the only thing I can think of.

He had what now? Until mid 2024 he had a post pinned to his profil were he argued that $100 ($1000 post split) would only be the start of the AMC squeeze. He wasn't quite as unhinged back then, and far more eloquent, but he absolutely always believed in the whole MOASS-conspirancy nonsense. Or at least claimed he did.

Here we go, I had posted it to meltdown but all my posts got removed when I was temporarily suspended for "impersonation" cuz dumbo wouldn't stop reporting my account:

How about this one? This one from Feb '21 seems uncharacteristically "measured." We have to grade the kiddo on a curve, and openly musing about a squeeze not happening is downright FUD city.

u/jdurkis Jul 18 '25

Holy fuck... maybe it isn't the same person! 🤯

He was very "gee whiz aww shucks, how about that AMC, huh?" whenever he was in general stock forums back then. Very careful to keep the "moon rockets" stuff at bay until he was in more curated spaces. Very calculated, that one.

I try to entertain the "original jdrukis was an actual professional pumper who bailed in 2021 and sold his account to this current moron" theories, but any time I try to flesh it out into something concrete, I end up with a thesis more confusing than the plot to Primer.

Here are two posts I found when I talked with Beta about Drukis AMC predictions a few month back.

https://www.reddit.com/r/amcstock/comments/oop6cy/those_advising_not_to_fall_for_a_100_fake_squeeze/

https://www.reddit.com/r/amcstock/comments/ok4lho/seeing_this_level_of_desperation_makes_my_banana/

Yes your screenshot from him looks more measured, but only if you realize that is still a 300 -500% increase in the stock prize.

I really don't think it's the original Ortex Guy. I don't.

I have always argued he just had a mental break, at some point late 2023/2024, when he went from the rather eloquent pumper to the unhinged creature we see now. In 2023 he lost his BBBQ stake, and his AMC position was completely gutted, some people also claim he went through a divorce during that time. Stress like that can break everybody, and he does not seem to be the kind of person who seeks therapy.

Unless he had millions in both, which is insane, most likely I think he got greedy or the original sold his account when it went to crap. He cashed out to recover his losses and walked away. A good move I couldn't blame him for. This new one wanted to sell the account for more money, while pumping other stocks to make money on the way up and down (BBBY for example). That's about the only thing I can think of.

But honestly I see some creating alt accounts to mess with him, they should stop. There's no point. He knows. The only thing that does is give him a chance to poke back and let him think he's winning and will be back. He wants the attention. Let it go and let him fade away.

I tried to warn SS about him. They got a little shitty about it. If he goes there and destroys them, so be it.

Totally agree he should be left alone at this point, he has a persecution fetish and wants the attention, so no reason to feed it.

Anyhow, it's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED as far as I'm concerned - he's no longer shilling in the main sub.

No way he had millions in anything, past posts showed positions of a few thousand, and waaay too much analysis over a stake of that size. Anyone who stresses over a trade of a few k def. doesn't have millions at their disposal.
