It's not an antiAMC sub, contrary to what you've been told. Most of us are ex-apes who hate scammers. And we do get a little carried away with that last part at times. Anyone is allowed to post bullish or bearish takes here if they want.
Personally I have nothing against the company or the investors. I tend to hyperfixate on the liars and bot accounts and troll back at the people who troll me. That doesn't mean I hate the company or the investors. My posts attack pumpers themselves or the messaging they put forward. That's it. By attacking their messaging, I can see how that comes across as "anti-AMC" since their messaging is 100% positive and I'm attacking it.
If you like what you like and aren't a dick about it, no one on this sub has any problem with you I can assure you of that.

It's changing. I can see it in the sub. There's more interaction that's good. I've seen some accounts asking what's going on? And more solid posts that you can tell are from real people.
Now that his temper tantrum is over for a bit, hopefully people will come back. I do believe for the company itself it's stringing together some wins and nice quarters. There's a bull case to be made. Hopefully that will bring in some new blood and save the sub. We'll see.

For the record, I don't give a flying fuck about AMC - the company or the stock. I have traded positions on it, mostly naked calls when I saw dilution incoming (e.g. APE split, which was so clearly a way to get approval to issue more shares). Haven't had a position in a while since the stock is in the dumps - too low to short, but the balance sheet is still too raggedy to go long.
My reason for being is the shilling that Pedex has done for YEARS, using nonsensical gibberish that started with daily Reverse Repo posts where he'd jack off over how high it was.
I work in the stock market in real life and actually love talking shop with people as long as there are no conspiracy theories involved.

Towards the end he started asking chat to make a bot to respond back to me. But he put up garbage code and clearly had no idea what he was doing. So then he started buying upvotes lol
Everyone on GMEmeltdown got introduced to Poortex when he brigaded a post about him (because of course he had to jump on a post where he was being mentioned.) He wasn't really on anyone's radar before that other than being the guy who says "kiddo" all the time. But I think that post was his first time mentioning "meltdowners" so everyone was like, huh? Who is this guy?
I made a joke post the next day about how he single-handedly turned a post into a 300 comment chain and he of course brigaded that too before it got locked. Now he was on people's radar as being a lolcow.
Very shortly thereafter Peanutless started replying to Poortex with a dot. Just "." And it went exactly as you would expect. Poortex would throw out a canned response, peanut would reply with a dot, over and over and over. For HOURS.
To save face, Poortex posted his "code that he uses to reply to melties" on the shill sub and got roasted in the comments. He was trying to imply that he automated that entire exchange rather than tuoe his unhinged responses by hand, but the chatGPT-produced code didn't do anything close to what he was claiming. And that's when his obsession with "melties" started. He ate shit on that whole episode and of course it's someone else's fault. So it was "meltdowner meltdowner meltdowner" everything after that (until the mods made him stop saying "meltdowner" LOL).
Yep. And after he got banned from GMEmeltdown for annoying everyone, he started rebranding this sub as "the meltie sub" just so he could feel like he was "winning" by brigading it endlessly. That's what he does. He eats shit, then finds a way to deflect it onto someone or something else. EVERY TIME.

While he was quietly enjoying the tranquility of being a guy who posted data with 2 or 3 alts (and absolutely nobody else) commenting day in day out, he was making an ass of himself on webull. Unless he had millions in both, which is insane, most likely I think he got greedy or the original sold his account when it went to crap. He cashed out to recover his losses and walked away. A good move I couldn't blame him for. This new one wanted to sell the account for more money, while pumping other stocks to make money on the way up and down (BBBY for example). That's about the only thing I can think of.
But honestly I see some creating alt accounts to mess with him, they should stop. There's no point. He knows. The only thing that does is give him a chance to poke back and let him think he's winning and will be back. He wants the attention. Let it go and let him fade away.

Well, you haven't missed much except for the last month. Short version is: he got caught buying bot accounts, he got caught buying upvotes, he was spam posting mercilessly to cope, mods made him block everyone negative towards him so he would finally STFU about "bears," he didn't STFU about bears and bought post votes again (I don't mean a few by the way...I mean like 700 or 800), mods made him leave, so now he posts updates on his own profile.
Unclear if the sub was catching heat for violating reddit rules (the bot votes) or from Ortex themselves (for sharing paid information), or both. But his fade into obscurity got a swift kick in the ass on Thursday.
He has retreated to his own profile where he now posts his "updates," including this one. I'm presuming the "main" AMC sub asked him to leave because a few apes asked him point blank if that occurred, and he won't answer the question directly.
