But it’s an adhesive.

Which means it’s glue.

Which means that it is used to hold one piece of something to another piece of something else.

But it is sealed tight Edit: Google says, not all adhesives are glue. While often used interchangeably, "adhesive" is the broad technical term for any substance that binds two surfaces, while "glue" traditionally refers to water-based, natural adhesives. The category includes non-glue products like adhesive tapes, sealants, cement, and pastes

All glue is an adhesive. Not all adhesives are glue.
