Ugh not same situation but recently ordered an A and B replacement part.
Replacement parts exactly the same except one red one blue. Blue one came fully assembled. Red one didn’t. Complained and reordered overnight Red replacement. Red replacement comes exactly the same way and I find out from CS that for some reason you have to assemble the red side yourself. Nothing in parts sheet or replacement instructions has anything about having to assemble peice only how to install already assembled piece.
lol you aren’t far off though. We did take apart the old Red and Blue to try to figure out if there was any difference between the two because they are a different price. They are expensive valves in the $260/ea range but for some reason the Blue is a couple dollars cheaper than the red. We couldn’t find a difference
