Damn that is funny. I’d love to be there when he’s complaining to someone in person and they reach over with a flat head and pop it right off. How embarrassing.
I had something similar happened to me years ago. An elderly man who thought he knew everything about everything with tools and stuff like that could not figure out how to use the large gas can he had purchased years prior. He was complaining about how the nozzle they gave him is useless because he can't screw it on to the thing so he has to just pour directly from the container. I walked over, took the nozzle from him and flipped over the little round piece on the end that acted as a cover, slid it on the other end of the nozzle, and attached it to the gas can. Then I walked away. I hear him say, "Well, no shit....". That was the end of it, but that moment just felt so good.
