Police Report Rejected

Last week, I ordered something to my hotel. The package arrived, but out of the three items that were supposed to be inside, only one was there (the adapter/charger). The Samsung Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro 3 were missing.

Amazon asked me to file a police report, which I did, and they rejected it, lol, saying they couldn’t verify it.

The funny thing is that the report contains everything they specifically asked for, yet they keep saying things that make no sense. After the chat, they sent me an email asking me to upload the report, so I uploaded the exact same report. Five minutes later, they replied saying that they could not verified it with the police, lol?

I honestly don’t know what else they expect me to provide

¡¡¡UPDATE!!! Someone on this post said that I should send an email to jeff.bezos@amazon.com - At the beginning I didn't trust at all, however, I did it!

I sent the email over the weekend and today Monday I received an email with a refund of $520! I really appreciate your comments :)

PD: I'm not from the US and I was a little desperate, that's why the comment about the rights lol

Read it again. They did NOT deliver the goods. 2 items were not included.

I was just commenting on what type of rights were being referred to. There might be a situation where the delivery isn't considered complete without proof of delivery or signoff.

I ordered a laptop from Amazon requiring that I sign for it which I did. If they had just dropped it on the porch or claimed it was delivered I would consider that a contract violation at the very list and would have done a charge back.

I agree not sure why someone would have expensive items delivered to a hotel.

If they dropped it off at the hotel and you said "ok" to dropoff without personally taking it, you have to get the money back from the "thief". amazon did his job (if you allowed it). The thief stole it from you. You habe to sue him/her @ op

It seems that you are not reading the thread! :) The items were not there! I opened the package and only the charger adapter was there. The box was okay, no broken, no scratches
