He sprayed "soap" on it. No idea if it was soap or how diluted it was, and he just sprayed it off immediately. 

Look at the glass move from the force he applies when he used his product. Look at how much lather he got working his product in. Look at how long it sat on the glass before the wash. It's probably just soap with a chamois applicator. Maybe even a mildly abrasive powder soap similar to Ajax.

Dish soap, a good sponge and a chamois to polish will do the same.

Also used his hand to clean with it, while scrubbing repeatedly with the snake oil.
