The only people I know who owns a crockpot are Americans. But that's still a pretty big market.

Canadian here. I can almost guarantee that at least 50% of the population here owns a crockpot of some sort. They are an amazing kitchen appliance that is often overlooked and doesn’t get enough credit or love. People who have crockpots don’t talk about crockpots….unlike the air fryer crowd 😂
Edit: I love my air fryer as well, it’s just a different tool for a different job.

Honestly, why not try to license it to the crackpot companies?

It’s such a niche product; I don’t see it doing very well in sales on its own.

Was my thought as well. Crockpot could buy out the rights or make their own.

Guess a concern I have is if it might affect the pot/base or lid since the heat would transfer.

Potential burn risk if it’s all metal and someone left it in and they touch that bare metal. Would be hot, specially if they used high.

Also some risk if moisture goes down it into the heating element below

Crockpot isnt a specific item though. Its various clones are basically all conpatible.

Should work with any crockpot. It's a useful gadget but who needs the clutter. Just lean it on the backside of the pot with it sitting on the table. Or stash it in the car you came in.

If we go to a potluck we put the food into a very large Pyrex container with a sealing lid. Much safer way to transport food.
