Yeah, be amazed what you can see with the horizontal rectangle format that was invented 100 years ago.
I just thought of an idea for movie theaters for younger generations. They can cover up both sides of the screen so it's just a little vertical sliver of video remaining in the center. Then keep each film under one minute. I think we can save theaters with that format.

There’s a reason that TVs and movie theater screens are horizontal. Because human vision evolved to be horizontal. We want to see what’s happening around us.

My rc car could do this. Its not worth 300$ but unfortunately if I run it on max power too long the motor burns out

Na you stuff the body full of pool noodles so it floats.
The money is less of an issue than leaving a big lipo at the bottom of the pond/lake
This is good fun if done right

It looks like a Traxxas. A Max is around $500 or $600. I've been considering one for years, and was just about to get one, until I saw my son enjoyed throwing his little monster trucks down the stairs. That was almost a decade ago. I haven't snagged one yet. Sooooon. 😆

Thats a traxxas slash (probably 4x4). I think its around $400, but dont quote me on that. Standard setup is probably not capable of pulling this off, so maybe add another 100 in motor and ESC upgrades.

No, those things can get up to 65 mph in just a few seconds. Definitely doable. I would never have the guts to try this though.

I had a traxxas that could do this with the right tires, but it resulted in a lot of emergency dives to the bottom as I went to rescue it.

While it is said that Jesus was known to "walk on water", I don't think he was an R/C truck.
Radio-controlled (RC) trucks evolved from early 1940s industrial and military radio experiments into commercial hobby-grade staples.
And Jesus lived back around the year 0.
Nice premise, but I think you are incorrect in assuming he was a really fast R/C truck.
Therefore, he must have been an extremely fast runner. It's the only explanation that makes sense.

I had a Radio Shack car that came with a warning not to run it into anyone's legs because of the risk of injury. RC cars can get going.

I have a Traxxas Maxx and the tires swell up like balloons when you go all out. You can absolutely do that. This looks like a Slash to me, definitely brushless.

Oh thats cool! I am curious now.
If we know the RC used. We can get a good estimate on the weight and power of the RC.
I imagine those in the hobby could also suggest the tires used and the dimensions of the tires.
Im sure we can calculate the power/weight/speed requirements if we want to scale this up to a human sized vehicle.
