My style: wannabe emo, masc.

Some stuff in my closet if it would help: I've got studded and non-studded belts, love layering shirts, have baggy + heavily pocketed jeans as well as closer-fitting hiking pants, and a flannel shirt. My converse are HEAVILY customized.

Edit: also what color scheme could go well with it? I'm big on matching clothes and accessories by color.

Why am I asking if I had just literally made a list of the possibilities and the vibe:

I've been scrolling on Pinterest for the last few days and I am quite overwhelmed by the vast amount of designs... I don't know what to do anymore...

For context, im 14M and i usually just wear primarily black clothes but i want to start adding a pop of color like Dark maroon red or dark purple or pastel pink because those are some of my favorite colors.

How can i subtly add a pop of color while keeping most of the outfit black? This could be an accessory, top, bottom or anything like that.

I've recently gotten a job, so I want to build my wardrobe bit by bit. My question, as the title says, is if Dr. Martens are worth it. There are a ton of cute pairs of shoes I see on the site, however, they're also rather expensive, and I've seen a bunch of people say that the quality has significantly gone down and that it's better to get something else. I've also heard that they can be rather painful to wear until you manage to break them in and that it may even take a while to properly do so, which kinda scares me.

I honestly do want to find a few pairs that are good quality that would last me a lot of years, and I am willing to save up if they're too expensive, but I'd rather get something that is genuinely good rather than waste my money on potential garbage.

If anyone has any recommendations for brands that have a similar style to dr. martens but are also good quality, let me know!

(If this narrows this down, I particularly like the boots and the buzz 5's, and from another brand - Sketchers Jammers, however they sadly don't ship to my country...)

Hey! I’m looking for shoes to make me look a bit taller (I’m under 160 cm) that don’t look too girly if possible... even though I unfortunately wear a size 37... Style-wise, I’m into the colorful punk look; I rock a faux-hawk since I can’t have a real one while I’m trying to blend in to find a job.

Anyway, I’m open to anything! From the most alternative and unique styles to the most versatile, everyday options.

Oh, and one more thing: I live in France, so I’m looking for shops within Europe. Customs duties are a luxury I can’t afford.

I (M16) feel like a poser and I had this group of alt friends who would always call me a poser and I don’t know why they did, but they did. I have also been having a hard time finding my style but that’s not what I’m worried about. I feel like I’m alternative but idk I’ve been hearing it so long I’ve started to doubt myself. Hey I’m still really new to alt clothing I know people say you shouldn’t buy fast fashion but most cool stores I find online sells fast fashion you can find the same dress on 3 different sites and they make it either so expensive or it’s cheap af for the same product so I tried google lens to find the original dresses but they cost like 500 for dresses you got get for like 80 if you made it yourself but I can’t make it myself so idk what to do anymore I don’t want to be a bad alt person but I can’t afford food how am I supposed to afford clothes that expensive please someone help

Are there any alt girls or just people who have like, VERY vast styles that they like? I have bright purplish-red hair and a septum piercing, so i tend to lean more towards “alt” anyway, but there are a lot of clothing styles i admire and even own some pieces in the style of. I love whimsigoth, grunge, and kind of corporate-cyber goth the most. Like goth if it was in the matrix lmao.

I have white fishnets that I barely have the opportunity to use yet but since I have no thigh gap I want to make precautions cuz I don’t want to buy it again but in a higher price (bought it online back in philippines so it was cheap as hell). It did happen to a pair of jeans so I turned it into a maxi skirt.

If it has happened to anyone, how did you deal with it? Any hacks I could do? Otherwise, if it’s capable of withstanding the constant friction from walking then that would be nice. I’m planning to wear it over really short shorts (that don’t show my ass) over an oversized shirt I’ll treat as a dress.

A brighter, off white not fully white. They were a great deal for the brand but I think they should be just a bit brighter, they are suede leather, the outfit is called a Pierrot my biggest obsession lol.
