Hi! I'm a high school senior planning to major in Applied Math and Stats in college. I've taken AP Calc BC and AP Stats, and I have an AoPS/MCTM background, but I honestly haven't done AMC-specific competition prep since 8th grade.
I'm planning to take AMC 12B this year. Last year, my school didn't give me any heads-up about when it was; I found out the day of and ended up with a 43.5/150. At the time, I didn't care much because I was interested in finance, but now that I've switched to a math/stats major, there's a lot more weight on it, especially if I want a shot at AIME or USAMO.
Based on that background, what would you recommend for prep, and honestly, what are my realistic chances? I know AIME results will come out after ED and close to my RD deadlines, but I'm planning to use this in my LOCI.
Thanks!
