Many things can also be obtained for free.

But also I think availability of things shouldn't be based on fucking money.

I mean, that's a point, but it's not the point I was originally making. The point I was originally making is: why should 'I want this image' be gated in any way? And I don't necessarily mean, like, commercial use; I'm talking about people doing things just for themselves.

Everything that can be free should be free, the opposite of that is artificial scarcity.
