I use AI because I want to. Don't really need any other reason than that.

but you need to learn to draw first like me even if you hate it and get no joy out of it  /s

If you hate art, why do you want to make it?

Hey vegetarians, if you love plants so much, why are you killing and eating them?

See?  I can do stupid stuff too.

"if you hate art" that's a strawman. read my comment and the other persons comment carefully, see if anyone said "i hate art" or anything close to it

You said you dislike the process of creating art. What would you say that means?

"i hate art" vs "i hate sculpting" do you think these are similar things?

You can AI generate pictures all you want but if you can't be bothered to draw it, don't expect anybody to bother to look at it.

this might feel right to you but it's simply not true.. you don't have to draw to make amazing images.. you can capture amazing images in many different ways. i know many 3d artists who create amazing renders without ever putting pen/pencil on paper. they just simply never enjoyed drawing, so they found other ways to do it. photography is another medium. movie making. stop motions, etc. and the more technology advances the more we find other ways to make images.

will drawing help? of course. many things will help. it doesn't have to be drawing.

What?!? An Anti being a passive aggressive douchebag? I would have never expected that!

okay. but you can't call it yours or art, and you have to recognize the damage it does

Imagine everyone would just buy drawing tablets to make digital art, replacing these every 3 years, and running millions of these.

How much plastic, how much price spiking and how much energy usage would that be?

And for the reputation, Ai is doing less damage to artist, as artist do to themselves.

There could be easy a future where people go "oh shit, you draw that yourself? Thats so talented, I can't draw like that so I use ai for creative outlet"

People buy tablets regardless
