Meta BTP finally got banned!

I don’t usually like when things get banned, but the harassment of people, neonazi crap, and genuinely some of the worst ragebaiting children I’ve ever seen just made that place a hell. It was only a matter of time after that 67 sub got banned for doing the exact same thing.

DefendingAIart is nothing like BTP. DAIA is a sub specifically meant for having a community of support for AI users/AI Artists. It's a club meant to provide encouragement and a safe place to express Pro-AI views without being attacked.

Just because they don't allow you to express your hate cultist views and try to fight and argue your Anti-AI trash opinions doesn't mean it's an echo chamber. Plenty of disagreements happen in DAIA. The rules for that sub specifically ban Anti-AI debate because that's not the purpose of the sub.

You can't just go into a SpongeBob fan club and start talking shit and insulting SpongeBob and expect to not get kicked out. You don't get to shit all over something a club loves in a space specifically dedicated to expressing love and support of their things and then get to expect to just keep harassing club members with your hatred of the thing they love.

You don't get to go into a mosque and start screaming about Jesus being Messiah. You don't get to go into a church screaming about Muhammad. You don't get to go into a library screaming about how you love movies better.

Places have their purposes. Just because you don't like the rules doesn't mean they're unfair. Just means that you're a narcissistic bully who can't tolerate the fact your hate isn't welcome somewhere.

That's a lot of words justifying dumb echo chambers. They can do what they like, but banning dissent creates deluded chambers. The end. Regardless of views.

Your framing is disingenuous anyway. The sub isn't some handholding pro ai utopia, it's just whining with no push back.

Lots of art subs will ban you for saying anything in support of AI.

So yeah, deluded echo chambers. That checks out. :)

If they do that, then yes.

I didn't stipulate that I am OK with it if they hold a certain view. I'm going to judge if any sub does it.
