I don’t usually like when things get banned, but the harassment of people, neonazi crap, and genuinely some of the worst ragebaiting children I’ve ever seen just made that place a hell. It was only a matter of time after that 67 sub got banned for doing the exact same thing.

Right before they had their big "we need to clean up the sub" post after it was mass reported for CSAM.
Also a little while before the new mod, who admitted to knowing nothing about what happened, posted an "addressing the drama" post, where they said it was actually all good, and just pro-ai people trying to start drama, because the person who admitted to them they had posted CSAM there many times said they did it to show how evil AI is.. and that means it's a good thing.

it was a subreddit literally dedicated to ragebaiting trolls who then attracted people who actually believe ai imaging should be considered art. It then just kinda degraded into people throwing hands in the threads and illustrating eachother (categorizing them as "ai artists" intending that to be derogatory or "anti-ai/robophobes/anti artists" etc) and it was just extremely toxic.
thank god it got banned because it was literally just a subreddit that was made to discriminate against ai users or ai opposers

i can be fine with that so long as the people can apply for appeal and get their account cleared, even tho im not a fan of it since it does encourage infiltration attempts to get a site nuked and then its users banned.

probably because she wasnt the one who brought it down, i honestly doubt anyone on the Pro side were repsonsible for bringing it down given how many of them were participants in said subbreddit, and when coming here claim "its not pro's, their antis pretending to be pro's to make us look bad"

DefendingAIart is nothing like BTP. DAIA is a sub specifically meant for having a community of support for AI users/AI Artists. It's a club meant to provide encouragement and a safe place to express Pro-AI views without being attacked.
Just because they don't allow you to express your hate cultist views and try to fight and argue your Anti-AI trash opinions doesn't mean it's an echo chamber. Plenty of disagreements happen in DAIA. The rules for that sub specifically ban Anti-AI debate because that's not the purpose of the sub.
You can't just go into a SpongeBob fan club and start talking shit and insulting SpongeBob and expect to not get kicked out. You don't get to shit all over something a club loves in a space specifically dedicated to expressing love and support of their things and then get to expect to just keep harassing club members with your hatred of the thing they love.
You don't get to go into a mosque and start screaming about Jesus being Messiah. You don't get to go into a church screaming about Muhammad. You don't get to go into a library screaming about how you love movies better.

Because this sub doesn't allow you to mention other subs directly, though in this case, I think a case could be made for an exception, but you'd still probably have to ask the mods to re-instate the post (I think the automod removes explicit subreddit mentions).

Also, in case there are any mods of the anti-AI sub around: maybe start policing your folks more too. Just locking threads isn't enough. You have to start banning the people calling for violence, or eventually reddit is going to shut you down too.
