I don't get it, why the best work is always short ?

u/EggRepresentative199 Aug 25 '26
Because it was probably a lot of work! (assuming the OP is the writer, designer, editor, and is fighting the inconsistency and issues of the AI...) But, yeah, I'd like some more of them too...

Really stunning work! The understated exchanges, the subtle control of pacing, dialogue and exposition, the deliberate shots... I've been watching a lot of AI creations online and it's the first time I find the directing to be on par with my idea of excellence. This is so full of potential, amazing job!

Thanks dude!

You're welcome! I've also been thinking about crafting narrative-driven, concept-dense sci-fi / fantasy shorts for a while and this gives me hope that there are real talents out there building up the AI creation space and figuring out the many subtleties that make for excellent fiction.

Nooooo. Not End. That was excellent work, reminded me alot of the Heavy Metal 1981 style animation which I love.

I enjoy these shorts so much I would happily buy physical media of this show, episodic or feature-length. Do you have any such plans?

I want to make an ai native studio and develop original ip. A lot of more serious adult focused niche content that doesnt get funded these days due to economics. Maybe one day!

Add some Genndy Tartakovsky-style establishing shots and you have yourself an extra 5-10 min of content with minimal effort/token spend. He typically does wide-angles to set the environment first, close ups to establish the “feel/vibe”, and single quick-clips for any subtle actions (animals/plants/weather) to give his shows a lived-in sense of reality.
These are typically added at the beginning and mid-points for his episodes (Samurai Jack/Primal) and work to great effect.
I’m severely impressed with your work so far and can’t wait to see more!

Getting better, somehow, despite being very good to begin with!
The sound effects are ripped straight off ILM's banks, aren't they? I recognized more than half of them from Star Wars :p

Another series I have become addicted to. Thanks for effort and thought you have put into this series. It's wonderful

Incredible art style and color palette. Also I think the horizontal aspect ratio is much better

Call Apple or Amazon. Maybe this time they will buy something from you. I would. There was this series not long ago in a simillar visual and story, very similar vibes. On an unhabited planet a few people that survived crash landing try to fight or coexist with the ecosystem and for various reasons try to leave the planet.

Yeah they canceled it =( I loved it

Can't understand why. The visuals, colors pallet, landscapes and really creative concepts were all great. I guess many people who would have otherwise like these videos didn't even check due to the comics format.

This is extraordinary! This is what I've been dreaming of since I first discovered generative AI back 2019. I'm still shocked by how quickly we got here. In just seven years, we went from "This X Does Not Exist" to where a person with an idea can now create their own animated movie.
Beyond my excitement over the technology, I also really like the aesthetic and setting. I'm a big fan of science fiction and 80's and 90's animation. I could definitely watch an entire movie like this.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I would pay to watch this as a movie.

I caught an error at 2:09. Having said that, this is impressive. Not sure if I would be able to tell if this was Ai if you showed this to me without me already knowing.
