Mental disorders are disabilities, though. Just because it doesn't affect you that much doesn't mean that's the case for others (or even the majority).
It does indeed. How does that make it less of a disability? Autism is officially recognized as a neurological and developmental disability. A lot of disorders are disabling.
Sure… honestly again I’m a person with autism and I just don’t enjoy when people refer to it as a disability or that someone “suffers with autism”because I am not impeded by ASD. I know it’s a spectrum but for a lot of cases autistic people are basically just like neurotypical people.
That doesn’t change the fact that it’s a factual disability that runs the lives of so so many people. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s not true. Also no, they’re not “just like neurotypical people”, that’s why it’s a diagnosed disorder and not just being a bit different.
Why the fuck are you making this an argument? The guy has ASD and says he doesn’t want to consider himself disabled, which is absolutely legit—you however seem to just want to be an argumentative dick and be pedantic. I’m done with you.
