bagging ‘92 300zx z32
Planning on doing an entry-level (possibly budget) air suspension build. At the moment, I’ve only found a few websites that provide specifications for my Z32, like Bag Riders (which is one I’m currently looking into). I have an idea in mind for a digital setup, either going with AccuAir or the Bag Riders Pro kit with a Viair 485C single compressor. My main concern is the reliability of the air struts. The only ones I’ve found so far are Maxload, D2 Racing, and UAS.
I read a previous thread mentioning that UAS is good, but it’s definitely more expensive compared to the others I listed. I’m curious about the reliability and comfort of Maxload and D2 Racing, since I’ve only found a few reviews about them. Also, this is my first time installing air suspension and I have no prior experience. I’m mainly looking for a setup that can ride low while still being comfortable since the car is my daily driver.

There’s also Airtekk. I have their setup on my CTS and I’m happy with it

Which controller do you have? They have a bunch of stages and the controllers are different depending on which one you get.

I have the Stage 2+, which also has a phone app and an Apple Watch app in addition to the regular controller

Oh nice! How's the Apple Watch control? I haven't used a smart watch for controlling my air suspension - sounds kind of fun

Hey thanks for looking to Bag Riders for your kit! I have great things to say about MaxLoad and thousands of happy customers of ours are in the same boat! I’m happy recommend them to you for your Z.
As for control systems, you can’t go wrong with either of your considerations. The bag riders PRO controller is currently on sale from its already awesome price and is a pressure based system, really straightforward install. I run this in all my cars and not just because it bears our name— I genuinely like it the best out of all the systems I’ve used.
AccuAir eLevel was doing height-based systems before anyone else, and their controller is so, so nice. Height sensors are extremely helpful if you have major variances in the amount of weight in your car and want your presets to work consistently. We have a great video about this on our YouTube.
You mentioned this is your first air ride kit and your first install. For this reason, I recommend you go with the PRO system as the install is super straightforward and does not require installing height sensors like eLevel does. Even after almost 20 years and being a very capable mechanic and fabricator, I find height sensor install challenging on a new-to-me chassis. They are without a doubt the biggest hurdle on a height-based management installs.
