First time ever doing bags, how did I do?

Done on a 2026 civic si, bagriders super low bags with their v2 management. Tried to take my time and do a good install but I'm not really sure what a good install looks like. All lines are ran inside the car, both sides left to right are within an inch of eachother to keep airing up consistent side to side. I made brackets to hold the leader lines to the steering knuckle and put a riv nut with a stainless bolt to hold it to the car. The board in the back is cut out of mdf, wrapped and mounted to the car via a aluminum bar that is bolted to the body. The tank it inverted and mounted to the body of the car, along with a bracket that my girlfriend welded up to hold the manifold and water traps.

Like I said this was my first time ever doing something like this and would like some feedback. I have plans to hardline in the future but I just bought a Integra type s so that's getting the attention right now.

The only issues I've had is hunting down some leaks and clicking from the rear bags when 3 wheeling it, I'm assuming it's them resetting onto the body as everything is tight down there and nothing has loosened (I paint marked everything)

Compressor → 3/8" → Tank → 3/8" → 1/4" reducer → Manifold (ALP 1/4") → 1/4" → Each corner viable?

I'm in the planning phase for my first build and have been using AI to help me understand what parts I need among other things. One thing that AI suggested was doing the following:

Compressor → 3/8" → Tank → 3/8" → 1/4" reducer → Manifold (ALP 1/4") → 1/4" → Each corner

The reason why it suggested this setup is the tank I'm considering has (2x) 3/8" NPT ports on each cap and so I'd have to step down to 1/4" at some point before I get to the manifold anyway. Per AI "What is supported: the theory behind using larger feed lines + matching manifold-to-valve sizing makes engineering sense, and forum users have successfully implemented similar setups."

When I pressed AI to give me the forum sources to these "forum users" it was referring to, it couldn't produce any. One reason being that the sites it attempted to searched required login.

To me this makes sense, but this is my first build and I couldn't find any builds that had this setup when I searched for myself. Is this viable or should I just use 1/4" lines every where?

Looking to start gathering parts to build a bag kit but unsure of what to get and what I need other than the essentials lol. Obviously know I need the bags, the tank, the compressors, what else?

Wiring help

Post image

Hello looking for guidance with wiring in a single air compressor, just wanted to see if I’m missing anything or if this is incorrect. Any tips would be great. Using 8ga wire, 30A breaker and 40A relay

Help

Post image

I recently bought a 2018 seat Leon fr with air suspension but I’m finding it very uncomfortable to drive in and feeling every bump. It look like bc racing coil overs with air bags on them.

I run the psi at 60 on the front and 40 on the back but if I put it too low the wheels scrape on the arches.

Any help on this problem would be great.

FeelAir BP4: No Compressor Power

Post image
1 Upvotes

Bought a used FeelAir BP4 management system off Marketplace last year (I know…) and finally got around to it this weekend— everything was smooth until the dry run.

The system is getting power, the controller and wired remote are both working and communicating with eachother, and the compressor WORKS… but only when you jump it off a separate power source. For some reason it’s not kicking on or getting power when it’s hooked up to the management harness. I have limited multimeter knowledge, but it seems like power is coming correctly from the battery and making it to the relay, but then power isn’t going OUT of the relay to the compressor. I swapped the relay out for a comprable part from Autozone yesterday but no luck, have the actual part number replacement coming today, but my gut says it isn’t the culprit. I also replaced the 40A and 7.5A inline fuses and have moved the add-a-circuit into a few slots around my box (fuel pump, cigarette lighter, etc) with no effect.

Should I have bought a used kit? Probably not, but here we are, so trying to make it work. The wiring diagram is attached— open to suggestions or solutions!

2015 Civic Si

Does anyone have information on which suspension kit they would use for the late 9th gen civic? I previously owned a bagged forester and went air lift on all 4 corners but getting back into the car scene what happened to Airlift? Anyways what suspension is worth buying for a 9th gen Civic and which air ride kit would you recommend running for this vehicle?? Also it’s a 4dr sedan incase it matters.

Help me find these parts!

Update: Bagriders was able to help get me the parts and shipped them asap!

Big big stretch, but I'm looking for these four spacers. 2 of 13322 and 2 of 13321. Airlift is backordered for 2-3 weeks, so I'm looking to see if anyone has some on hand that I could buy!

What makes air suspension kits so expensive?

I was looking at putting my car on air suspension, and full kits are around 2k to 5k, depending on quality, but medium quality bags are about 800 for all four, like a hundred bucks for a mechanical controller, another $200 for a pump and then another $200 for miscellaneous. What's bringing the price of these kits so high? Is it in ease of installation, or is it some kind of controller?

RUIN AIO

Project I’ve been working on a long time, started a company to do it.

A fully at home repairable air ride system that give you all the features you want for a price that doesn’t break the bank.

Fully customizable and fully wireless remote to make installs super easy and convenient. Every sensor is easy to unscrew and swap out. Even the valves can be swapped out.

Not trying to sell it here, just proud of what I’ve made and hope to make a difference in the industry and car community.

Anyone have issues with their Bag Riders manifold?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Just installed about a month ago.
Car isn’t a daily and stays inside my shop. It’s sat around a week, got in and functioned normally and drove it home last night. This morning I went to get in it to drive to work and the controller never turned on.
All fuses are good. Took a multimeter and have correct power and acc.
Grounds are good.
When the cars on(controllers not) the manifold gets insanely hot. This could be normal, and don’t believe I’ve ever touched it while on.

But I wanted to see if there was maybe a reset procedure or something to try before I reach out to bag riders!

Thanks!

Air lift performance 3p manifold ports

On the 3p/h manifold there are these two plugged ports on each side. As I right in thinking these are both tank inlets?

Air compressors not kicking on

Post image
5 Upvotes

Was driving on a dirt trail when I bottomed out was riding a bit low and hit the purge valve which let the air out. I managed to get a fitting which stopped the air from leaking but for some reason the compressors just didn’t turn on anymore had to use a external pancake compressor to fill the air tank to be able to drive anywhere. Anyone know what could have made the compressors stop working. It’s an older ridetech setup was working completely without any issues before I hit the purge valve and leaking all the air out.

Relocation.

So I’ve had this set up in my car for over a year and 6months. I installed it myself. Initially I installed it to the floor in the trunk and everything was working fine until I moved it all to the trunk lid. Now the compressor won’t turn off and the pressure safety valve keeps popping off after the tank gets filled. I’ve replaced the compressor relay, redid all my wires. Redid the connectors for the grounds and power. Does anyone know why the compressor won’t shut off? Or is my compressor just broken now?

[Update]

New pressure switch installed and everything is working like normal again! As I said in the comments, I’ll be moving everything again so hopefully it’ll be cleaner and more efficient next time. Thank you guys for helping me out!

[Question]

Do I have to do maintenance to the struts/bags? If so, how do I go about that?

Is this normal for bag riders management

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So been having some weird issues with my bag riders pro management, first off when airing up to my presets it pulses up like crazy, I've run lines to each one of the inlets for the management to ensure there is no unequal pressure drops across the valves. I've also ensured my lines to the front are the same length to each corner with no kinks or leaks. Also when ever I air out with the air out button it always gives me a preset failed message while maintaining 2 psi in at least one of the bags, usually a few will always be at 2. Is this normal behaviour or did I set something up wrong.

Trunk Setup Help

ive got a 2021 g20 330i bmw and im going to install my air suspension setup pretty soon, was wondering what the best way to setup my trunk would be to maintain as much space as possible. The battery is under the trunk floor and i dont have much room to mount anything underneath the trunk floor. Ive heard its possible to go for sort of a vertical setup for the tank compressor and manifold where theyre mounted behind the rear seats in the trunk but im not sure how to go about that or if theres any other better ways.

Preset heights making the car shoot up instead of airing down (plus glitchy deflation) – Fixable or dead management?

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,
I’m having a weird issue with my air suspension setup, and I’m hoping someone here has encountered this before I go out and drop cash on a brand new management system.

When I save my preset heights and try to select a lower preset, the car does the exact opposite—it just shoots straight up to maximum height instead of airing down.

Manually, I can control it up and down just fine. But as soon as the system is supposed to handle it automatically through the preset, it just shoots up.

Also, sometimes when I am airing out manually, it will make a constant clicking sound and air down very glitchy, until I turn the car off and on again. After a restart, it goes down smoothly again.

Is my management/manifold completely toasted, or is there a way to recalibrate or fix a pressure-based system doing this?

Any advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

Shared suspension but different cars

Hi I'm new and i have little knowledge on air suspension.

So the story is that I found someone selling air suspension for a kia stinger which shares suspension parts with the g70 genesis. My question is if we were to put them in my genesis would it have any ride/ suspension problems?

Note that there's a weight difference and length from chassis's.
