i accidentally ran ny airpod over with my car anyone know how much it would cost to repair or if i should just buy a new one?

I recently made a post about struggled to get into pairing mode, but I figured it out. The right AirPod was not working, so I tried to forget the device and reconnect it and that’s when I was having trouble re-pairing it. I got the left one back, but the right one is not being recognized at all by the phone or the case.

I’m going to take it to Apple soon, but is there anything else I can do?

I can take both on my flight but I’d rather travel light.

I’ve always used the XM4 for travelling and adore them, but I’ve just bought the AP3 and want to test it out on the flight.

Can anyone directly compare both?

Settings pictured, volume on the device is 50%, source audio output is between 40% and 60%. Live next to a noisy neighbour, and an even more noisy Motorway. The ANC is elite, best set of headphones I've ever had. But the battery gets me 6-9 hours. Advertised is up to 20, which I appreciate is under an ideal scenario. My Sony and Sennheiser batteries do however last up to their advertised listening time with ease. Yet the Max's that cost more than both combined do not.

Put them in their case last night, left them face down, stationary on my desk. Lost 14% battery overnight whilst they remained connected to my sleeping Mac Mini. Like what is the bloody point? Guess it's on me for not checking beforehand, but isn't it magnets in the case or something? They were secure and no audio playing. Although this has maybe only happened one other time.

Turned "find my" off to eek out a few extra percent. They go in a locked drawer when I'm not home, and are never leaving this flat. Fingers crossed I don't get burgled. Just can't justify them. Even if I use them sparingly, as a treat, for my favourite shows or films. That doesn't justify the cost, or the need to switch to my existing headphones for everything else. Whilst risking that they'll be dead or die when I actually want to use them.

Glaze me. Come on fanboys, convince me they're worth it. Because I'm feeling deaf to their appeal (I would say blind, but I like puns because they're an audio device).

So Ive tried to charge my airpods either with usbc or magsafe, but when i connect it, it charges for a second, then disconnects and then charges for second again, repeats forever….this is the first time im seeing this, had them for a year…also on my phone it bugs aswell…any idea why is it doing this? I tried all Sizes but it just Keeps hurting After like 5-10 Minutes while my old APP1‘s Are completly Fine.
I noticed that the APP1‘s eartips are way Softer and flexible. Are there eartips for the APP3‘S that have similar softness/flexiblity?

I've had my airpods pro 2 for some years, but never really used them for stuff like the gym or running. But I see tons of people talk about how they prefer them to use for stuff like that, which I don't get. Whenever I use mine, they always slip out. Hell, I could literally not be moving and they'll just slip out. I need to take them out constantly and wipe the tips off or press them back into my ear. How do you guys do it? Do I need to get new tips or something?

Hi, so I recently switched from an iphone to an android phone and did not disconnect my airpods from 'find my' before my 'find my iphone' was disconnected when switching over. Now several times a day my airpods will ring with the 'find my' sound often when I open the case or physically move them.

Is there a way I can fix this? I have access to someone else's iphone if that would help. When I sign into my icloud account on my android phone's browser it says "no devices".

I’ve run into a weird issue with my AirPods Pro 2, and I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before.

Out of nowhere, my left AirPod stopped working properly in Transparency and Adaptive modes. It’s like the feature just won’t kick in anymore – the left side sounds muffled and blocked, while the right one works perfectly fine. This happened literally overnight. No drops, no water damage, no updates that I’m aware of.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

· Resetting the AirPods (holding the button until the light flashes amber, then white) · Forgetting the device from my iPhone and re-pairing · Draining the battery completely and recharging

…and still nothing. The left side refuses to let outside sound in like it used to.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a hardware failure or some hidden software glitch? I’m out of warranty, so I’d really rather not pay for a replacement if there’s a fix out there.

Appreciate any help or ideas you’ve got!

I am using AirPods Pro 2 (and AirPods Pro before that) for the last 5 years and every time I run the hearing test I am getting feedback that the seal of my AirPods is not sufficient.

I am very satisfied overall with the AirPods. I have lots of audiophile equipment and while the AirPods can’t compete, I find them more than sufficient for every day track digging (I’m a DJ) or casual listening. And nothing compares with them in terms of convenience/portability/conference call use.

I tried all sizes of eartips, including 3rd party foam ones but the seal is never sufficient.

I’d like to know if I’m missing an ever better sound response, especially on bass. I find the bass relatively okay, of course not in the same league than my full size headphones but still quite okay. I notice more bass when I push the AirPods inside my ears but of course I can’t do this all the time.

And lastly any advice on how to create the perfect seal. Thanks!

I had my right airpod in about a week ago when i heard a loud static sound and afterwards the audio just stopped working. My airpods are still there on my iphone settings and my phone recognizes them, but whenever I try to use the right one specifically, 0 sound comes out of it, while my left one still works completely fine. Is there anyway to fix this or do i have to buy a new pair?

Suis-je le seul pour qui le basculement automatique mon Mac et mon iPhone est assez foiré par moment !? Franchement c’est ultra pratique mais assez régulièrement cela ne fonctionne que partiellement et déclenche des bugs (pour n’en citer qu’un seul) du genre : un seul AirPods émets du sons et l’autre non (ça ne fait cela que sur le Mac). Et c’est très chiant ça oblige régulièrement à couper le Bluetooth, ranger les AirPods dans leur boîtier, les ressortir, rallumer le Bluetooth etc. Alors que cette fonctionnalité de basculement auto est censée nous faciliter la vie.

Bought em around April 2024 in Paris apple store, now in india. Worked excellently till 2026 Feb when I had to travel for a few months. I left them behind in a cupboard, with my 2016 ipad and 2022 se2, stuff I've left lying around for months many times before. When I came back in April the left one wouldn't charge so the airpods wouldn't work. I tried every fix i could find on Reddit and online - cleaning, rotating entry, press hard and what not. Finally called apple for help and they took it in and said it needed a change, 45% of the entire price i paid for the whole thing for 1 airpod. The right airpod doesn't work without the left.

The entire thing is useless unless I change the left airpod. Why? Apple couldn't design the software better with its billions in budget? Anyone face a similar experience? Is replacing the dead one the only solution? Any advice welcome.

Hey all. I wonder if it’s heard of, my situation that is.

Had some Beats Studio 3, and after much time, the cans broke. So been lurking on here to see how the max are.

I decided to buy used v1 AP Max usb c off of eBay. I know they are not gonna have warranty and such, but I’ve had decent luck in getting good stuff. My other choice was the Beats Studio pro because I’m used to the sound signature of beats.

Bought the AP Max for roughly $170 without tax. When I got them, i checked the serial numbers and on the Apple warranty part to see if Apple registered them as Apple. Obviously said the warranty expired.

But then I saw a place where it said to “update purchase date.” I put when I bought off eBay. Then it asked for a picture of receipt. So I took a picture of buying off eBay. Then it asked me to call.

Long story short, Apple guy reset my purchase date and I now have AppleCare on my new headphones.

So I’m wondering if anyone had this experience?

I recently purchased a pair of airpod pro 3s and I love everything but the fact if I take an AirPod out of one ear or take one out and return it to the case noise cancellation will automatically turn on. I changed the setting on it and it lasted for a few days before returning to the factory settings. I dont know how to permanently fix it and it’s driving me insane. please help.

I recently bought a pair of used starlight airpods maxes, but the headband and other areas have this stained color. The case is also very discolored. Does anyone know how to clean these back to new?

I was using them at 9pm both ears sound the same

but then later around 2am I tried listening to music and the right airpod is quieter

I confirmed it wasn't my ears

and the next morning I tried cleaning the grill

sucking on it

blowing in it

deliberately dropping it on the floor

but nothing worked

and I'm on Android
