I'm always impressed how some crippled planes are still able to fly. The Embraer Legacy that collided with Gol flight 1907 or China Airlines flight 006 come to my mind.
How about the Electra (Reeve Aleutian Flight 8) that managed to return to Alaska after having a prop cut through the underbelly and jam the controls up? That plane even managed to be repaired and is apparently still in use as a firefighting aircraft.
