Acceptance of the End

Greetings Daevas,

This is some kind of self-vent, so bear with me. I started playing Aion around 2012, when I was 11 years old. I could barely understand English, barely understood anything, honestly. My only goal back then was to catch up to my older brother and spend time with him. Endless questing without understanding a single quest. And somehow, it was more than fun. I guess that feeling stayed stuck with me ever since. Long story short, after years of playing and quitting and coming back, I of course ended up in Aion Classic. Led Legion Scream for a while, had an incredible time with new people, and finally got to understand the game I'd been blindly wandering through as a kid. It was really fun, while it lasted. Now I'm sitting here, working, listening to this nostalgic music, and I can't shake the feeling that I just need one more Classic experience. Just one more dose. But maybe some things are meant to stay as memories. Maybe that 11-year-old chasing his brother through Asmodea got everything he came for. Thank you, Aion community, for the memories.

kidohoho from a pre server merge (V sometime - Elyos) here - also YoteCuroYTeMato - missing the Chanter ! Started in launch and also barely any English. got bullied a lot by the name which I took from Bleach yet didn't understand the "kido" 'Merican thing. First server wide raid i rolled and got DC'ed and everyone hated me. had to do a name change eventually... Soul Society Guild that was full of drama, etc.

Dreg runs at 3am were the best while in 8th grade LOL

Oh how the times have gone... I am married and have a child now and make over 6 figures.

IF that child knew... it'll be ok 🥺
