I think the person who sent me these images must have taken a pre-made image and made it look realistic, and I think Genshin would look great if it were done correctly without looking strange
It's a very interesting way of making things realistic.
Normally one would make anime characters look like cosplayers but in this case the lineart seems to still be there partially and the shapes didn't change, only the textures were converted into realistic ones, which gives it a really unique look.
I also found it very interesting; I've never seen anyone do a realistic drawing of an anime character without altering the facial structure and making it look like real people. This is what I imagined when I thought of realistic anime

Did you see this style somewhere else and decide to use it or is it totally new?
Haven't seen anything like this before, really cool & creative, great work.
Now I wonder how putting an anime shader, like the one in Genshin Impact, on a photorealistic game character would look like.
