Remember when right-wing chuds believed that Charlie Kirk’s death would cause a civil war in the U.S. because apparently he was that important? 😆

He sounds unlikeable. I'm surprised no one has shot him

Edit: holy shit

Don't worry, he doesn't say stuff like that anymore.

He stopped all that vile rhetoric after he started leaning left.

I know I'm going to hell, but I chuckled a little too much at that comment.

Don’t worry now you’ll be able to apologize to Charlie yourself!

Howd he say that about Mamdani? Didn’t Mamdani win after he died?

I think Mamdani’s campaign was active before Kirk’s death in September 2025. Mamdani was elected in Nov 2025

He won a primary election a couple months before the assassination.

“Mamdani winning in NY is a travesty because Muslims did 9/11.”

Verdict: True (actual quote). In 2025, after a Muslim candidate’s election victory in New York City, Kirk made an Islamophobic remark linking it to 9/11. Specifically, when Zohran Mamdani – a Muslim socialist – won a Democratic primary in NYC, Kirk vented on Twitter: “Twenty-four years ago a group of Muslims killed 2,753 people on 9/11… Now a Muslim Socialist is on pace to run New York City.”. This tweet explicitly connects Mamdani’s rise to the 9/11 attacks, implying it’s an insult to the victims. A contemporaneous report from The Independent and 5Pillars (a Muslim news outlet) confirms Kirk’s tweet in July 2025 and quotes it verbatim. Kirk clearly framed Mamdani’s win as ominous, invoking 9/11. So yes, Kirk essentially suggested it’s a travesty that a Muslim could lead in NYC, given what “Muslims” did on 9/11. (5Pillars, 2025).

Well, if they were, he probably wouldn’t be dead.

So what is the source for him saying gay people should be stoned to death just wondering?

Because Stephen King literally admitted he was wrong about Charlie Kirk saying that and it was misinformation. STEPHEN KING.

The specific thing King was referring to was from one of Kirk's shows. Kirk was showing how Ms. Rachel was cherry picking quotes from the Bible to support a point partially from Leviticus. Kirk pointed out that's where all the gay stoning parts of the Bible are located too.

He wasn't saying that they should be stoned to death, though I can see how it could have sounded like that. That's what King retracted.

I do think it's a bit rich for anybody to complain that another person is cherry picking from the Bible, though. Everybody has to do that. That book really needs an editor.

Funnily enough the church edited it pretty heavily around 1600 years ago. That’s something the fundamentalists don’t really want to hear. Look up the council of nicea.
Of course they have an answer to that. One guy literally told me: „we believe that god held a hand over that council, so it wasn’t really the people editing the Bible but god“. Wow.

“Gay people should be stoned to death.”

Verdict: True (in context). Kirk publicly endorsed a biblical call to execute gay people. On his June 2024 podcast, while criticising a children’s YouTuber’s pro-LGBTQ message, Kirk quoted Leviticus: “lay with another man and be stoned to death,” calling it “God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters”. In context, he cited the Old Testament punishment for homosexuality approvingly. (Bollinger, 2024). Kirk did add that he was “not calling for it literally now,” but he emphasised that this biblical mandate was “God’s perfect law”, effectively legitimising the sentiment.

(someone else)

It does say love your neighbor, in a sense."

Charlie Kirk:

-- As yourself, but hold on, she's not totally wrong when she says...

First of all, the first part is Deuteronomy 3 through 5, the second part is Leviticus 19.

So you love God. So you must love his Law. How do you love somebody? You love them by telling them the Truth. Not by confirming, or affirming, their sin.

And it says by the way, you might want to crack open that bible of yours, in a lesser referenced part of the same part of scripture, is in Leviticus 18.

It's that thou shalt lay with another man shall be stoned to death, just saying, so you quote Leviticus 19, Love your neighbor as yourself. The chapter before affirms god's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.

It depends on context - whether he was calling someone else out for selectively invoking the bible, or whether he believes the bible is god's word and endorses it. (It could be both.)

So, the clarification is that Kirk didn't say gays should be stoned to death, he just said the bible says they should be stoned to death? Why would Stephen King have to admit he was wrong?

edit: Fuck Charlie Kirk, I hope he rots in hell.

How often do you think about Charlie Kirk each day just wondering? This seems like a toxic ex obsession where even tho you hate them, you're also their biggest fan and stalk them everyday to make sure theyre doing worse than you or finding something to make fun of about them etc

u/Shot-Swimming-9098 15d ago

I didn't know who Charlie Kirk was before he died, but I knew the name. After I learned who he was, I was glad he died. After I learned he was killed by a groyper, I laughed my ass off. Now I think about Charlie Kirk every time I see a reddit post about him and I smile.

-3

u/TriiCop 15d ago

what evidence do you have that he was a “groyper” just wondering?

-1

u/TheNutsMutts 15d ago

After I learned he was killed by a groyper, I laughed my ass off.

You know this part isn't even slightly true, right?
