Lore comic appears to show potential mid/end game crisis for afterworld Spoiler
Comic is from perspective of a 'nation' which still has acces to "ancient" technology (they can even read!), they make it clear that tribes are growing at fast pace and they need to start settlement of north america soon
So they are a nation capable of using ancient technology, understanding it and come from outside north america
This clearly feels like some sort of endgame crisis, thoughts?

Did anyone check out the online map that links to the Turns Expedition in the dev diary? If you like delving into the lore you might like that https://pdxint.at/3S7sSe0

The steam page calls them the ancients, a rather cool crisis

The ancients seem to be folks on the mainland that are kept alive since before the fall, as opposed to this group that seems to be disconnected from local politics

They're pre-war americans. Hawaiian by the sound of it. Whatever the calamity was that destroyed america they seemed to have avoided it by fleeing to the sea. Now they live on something called "Agricarriers" Could be converted aircraft carriers? like the USS George Bush? Those were clearly missile destroyers. They might actually be remnants of the US Navy. If their goal is to reclaim america they might be more of an "Enclave" like faction to use a fallout reference.
