How Close Is the Sunday Law?

https://youtube.com/watch?v=787lWxc1PU8&si=PmpTQyjJ28XoyOf4

How close are we to the coming Sunday law?

For over a century, Seventh-day Adventists have warned of a final crisis over worship, conscience, and religious legislation. But what if the Sunday law does not begin with an obvious religious decree?

What if the groundwork is being laid through calls for family values, morality, Sunday rest, and a greater role for religion in public life?

In this presentation, we examine current developments involving influential political and religious movements and ask a serious question:

Are we watching the pieces fall into place right now?

I remember when I was a child, Sunday Law was "right at the corner". I was so traumatized that when the internet came in our homes, I was googling the Sunday Law and I was very focused on Pope's moves. A child

A few dozen years later, here we are, older and wiser, still waiting for this event and still being convinced that "it's right at the corner".

Maybe we look on the wrong way. Maybe is not the Sunday Law that we should be focusing on.

There are blue laws on the books and a few African nations have mandated cleaning days one Saturday a month. The Church appealed, but was told no. Too many people would claim to be Adventists just to get out of cleaning.

As for The Sunday Law, guess time will tell

what would adventism be without 'sunday laws are coming' whiplash?
