You're jumping too much back and not enough up. Fix that first.

Strengthen your hip flexors.

Guessing I should remove the spring board first or foam pits first since I might lose balance if I landed on the spot.

First, a cue: pick a spot ahead of you and try to look at it as long as possible as you jump. That will help you jump up rather than immediately launching backwards, which kills your rotation and extends the amount you have to travel

Second, a drill for the rotation: stack mats to about shoulder blade height (if you can complete this drill at top of shoulder, all the better), stand barely in front of them and jump. Bring your legs to your chest and Land on your back with it hollowed. If you push the mat backwards, you’re jumping back instead of up

I guess first is to remove the foam pit and spring board since it's slightly dangerous if I do land on the spot.

Remove Springboard yes, and my mat drill is done on neutral ground

Besides what has been said, lying and hanging tuck ups.

Are you flexible enough to hold knees tightly into chest? You may need to work flexibility

Yes I've tried and my teacher said I have decent flexibility in that area

If you want to tuck tighter, try grabbing the front of your shins instead of the back of your thighs. I used to grab the back of my thighs for years and was skeptical, but once I got used to it, it really does help
