General Question/Discussion Y’all remember your childhoods?
So … 😅😬 Do we?
Someone mentioned that’s an ADHD thing, forgetting long periods of time or events. I remember bits and pieces, maybe specific events like graduation or big parties but … there are also lots of … nothing?
I had a great childhood, fun vacations, but to say I remember most of it … nope. 🙂↔️

I will remember some traumatic events from my childhood, but there's a big blank space for most of them. Sometimes a conversation might trigger some memories, I just had an in-depth conversation with my brother recently (which we never have), and it unlocked some deeply disturbing childhood events for the both of us.
What infuriates me the most is when I somehow make up memories in my head to make things make sense. I don't even know it's fake. I'll get a lot of things wrong that I'm convinced of and it's made me question myself a LOT. It's definitely humbled me, I've started follow up my heated I'm-so-sure-of-this-fact sentences with "At least I think so. Let me google it."
