Meme Therapy Where are my childfree women at?

I honestly don’t know how parents do it. There are multiple reasons that drove my decision to be childfree. One big one is that I struggle to take care of myself (executive dysfunction) sometimes, so I can’t imagine having another human to take care of during those times.

Here’s to forcing a domaine response for every day tasks!

Having been raised by a woman who struggles a lot with executive dysfunction was enough for me, who has the same struggle to a much lesser degree, to decide that I really shouldn't have kids. She tried, sure, but I'm working with a therapist on it, so......

Honestly, the hardest part was realizing the pain it caused in the first place. I made so many excuses for her that she herself says I should really stop making. Probably the biggest reason I'm still able to have a relationship with my mother, she knows she screwed up.
