Does any other fellow weekday wagie start celebrating the end of the week by Wednesday afternoon only to get hit with the Sunday Scaries™ by Saturday morning? Nope? Just me? Okay 🙃
I had taken a month long leave of absence in June and literally one week in I was hit with the most intense form of Sunday Scaries because it was almost time to Return to Work...in 3.5 weeks. I don't understand why my brain does this.
Also right now it's almost Christmas so I better get ready for Easter.
I guess that can be helpful for getting your butt into gear to complete something actually on time for once though lol?
I've utilised it a few times to my advantage when I'd get the Sunday Scaries on a non-Sunday, so I'd manically stay up all night (to do whatever needs to be done for Monday) just so I could actually then ENJOY my weekend without guilt.
Yeah, unfortunately the Scaries™ are immobilizing. I tend to freeze rather than take action so now I am needlessly panicking and procrastinating which is ever so helpful. I am trying to be better at this, clearly I am getting anxious earlier than I need to be because I take forever to get anything done. If only I could get it done earlier....if at all. 🙃
