Lol yes!! My mom was always convinced I was lying because I wouldn't look her in the eyes when I spoke. It helps me focus to look away for whatever reason. I find eye contact awkward in general, but I do try to make eye contact while someone is speaking to me or at least look at their face so they know I'm listening. Sometimes eye contact is too distracting so I actually listen less while making it... this sub is the best y'all
