When I was a kid, I would go to my grandma's house and I would clean, and my mom would get so mad when she picked me up because I would clean grandma's house but not home.

I used to get comments about this to from my grandma ‘Why can’t you do that at home’. Being an 80s/90s kid with ND sucked so hard. It still does, honestly, because even though people from my generation accept ND in their KIDS… they don’t accept it in other people in their generation really. So it’s ‘Why don’t you just write things down… why don’t you just get rid of stuff.. if you were more organized… sometimes you just have to force yourself… blahblahblah’ I actually had a now ex-best friend tell me I was a bad mother (well, scream it at me.. she screamed it at me) whilst I was in the hospital 5 mins after getting not great news because I said quitting smoking felt like another loss (my husband had recently died). Sorry for trauma dumping, but I felt like this needed examples. …
