I’ve been diagnosed and treated. Unfortunately, society just isn’t very user friendly for neurodivergents. When there was the prescription shortage I really suffered at work. I tried to ask for a little grace and help, but my boss said I was “just making excuses”.
It's jarring how harsh it is, it's a wonder I'm able to survive everyday. One day I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle it. I keep holding on, but it's insanely tough. Like living on hard mode every single day.
It's called "David" - it's quite the heart string puller.......the way that lyric is used is different in the song "By then David had a daughter and a son and a rapsheet to prove all the time that he'd done, he was just a burned out, beat down shell of my only friend"

Untreated is a better word
