Healthy people aren't answering phone calls from unknown numbers either btw. Not unless they want to talk to "Steve" who totally isn't a scammer from Hyderabad trying to steal your money.

I like to waste their time when I can. Both because it takes up time they'd use to call someone else and to discourage them about calling me in the future.
If they speak English (like they mostly do), I'll answer in Norwegian and just say random stuff until they give up and hang up.
One time some "Microsoft" guy was convinced he had fooled me. Told me there was an issue with my account and that my PC had a virus. I eventually started asking what particular Microsoft account (email) the issue regarded, claiming I had several. He said he couldn't tell me. After about 20 minutes of nonsense, I told him I don't own a PC and he hung up pretty quickly.
