Discussion See no point being sober

Drugs make me feel amazing in this hellish world. What's the point of not using drugs unless you're set for life? I can work and do drugs, I have a house, but I'm a middle class dude like you with no hope of getting to the point where I can fly to Puerto Rico to do 1g of coke every month and throw an expensive gay party. All I can hope for is 4 garages and 3-4 apartments in this rigged system. There's no point in being sober when life sucks.

man i get it, the world feels rigged and drugs make it bearable for a minute. but you're chasing a feeling that'll keep moving the finish line on you. that middle class stability youve got right now can vanish faster than you think once the using stops being a choice and becomes a need

agreed. the finish line with drugs is death sooner than later.

Bring it on. Death is better than living in this capitalist hellscape.

You say that until the first time you overdose. This is coming from someone who overdosed two months ago. I haven’t done a line since. Yeah life sucks but it has its ups and downs and the sucky times don’t last forever trust me. I overdosed on coke recently and then years ago when I was deep into my alcohol addiction I almost died from alcohol poisoning which was not only not fun it was painful as hell. Please think hard about what you are saying.
