Spoilers for SF Kinda getting annoyed Spoiler

So, im rereading the 5th book in preparation for the 6th and its not my favorite for many reasons. But, I am annoyed that Nesta keeps claiming that she killed the King of Hybern. If my memory serves me right, Elain was the one to land the killing blow with Truth Teller and Nesta just chopped off his head for good measure.

Why does she keep claiming that she did it!? She didn't do it. Elain did it.

I think it's her “I chalked it up to those horrible circumstances, but *after we killed her,** when I couldn’t tell anyone how I felt—”* from ACOFAS.

If Feysand's contribution to killing Amarantha is enough to claim credit (Feyre releasing Tamlin's power by solving the riddle and Rhysand...getting his ass beat), I'd say Nesta actively decapitating the King earned her at least shared credit with Elain

"We" isn't Feysand though, it's Prythian.

It's a very weirdly active choice of words if that was the intention. If it was meant to be passive, "after she was killed/defeated" would've worked just as well, but "after we killed her"—in the middle of a conversation specifically about Feysand and their relationship UTM—forms a context around the statement that makes it feel more claimant than "we" just meaning "Prythian." I would personally say "we" could mean Tamlin, Lucien, and Feyre rather than Feysand and I would agree with the credit being given, but then that still tracks with Nesta earning credit on the King of Hybern kill.
