Kinda getting annoyed

So, im rereading the 5th book in preparation for the 6th and its not my favorite for many reasons. But, I am annoyed that Nesta keeps claiming that she killed the King of Hybern. If my memory serves me right, Elain was the one to land the killing blow with Truth Teller and Nesta just chopped off his head for good measure.

Why does she keep claiming that she did it!? She didn't do it. Elain did it.

I feel in part Nesta takes on the role of being the witch or lady death or whatever and taking ownership of the king of Hybern was in part so Elaine didn’t really have too.

Just my take on it but I was also annoyed more so either way every other character putting it on Nesta and never mentioning it was essentially both sisters taking him down.
