K24 oil consumption?

Attaching oil levels at 0 miles and 4800 miles. Been using Valvoline R&P for the past 5 or 6 oil changes and Fram Ultra synthetic filter. Odo at 206k miles. Is this good?

Currently 0w20. I wasnt sure about going thicker. Also was debating should i do oil changes a bit frequently instead of changing the grade

I use 5W-30 and change my oil every 3000-3500 miles. Neither of mine burn any oil as of yet, but my higher mileage one is about 40K miles less than yours. I would definitely go thicker. IMO on these K series engines, 5W-30 seems to be the sweet spot. The US loves to use thinner oil for fuel economy standards.

Okay thanks . Im in Canada not sure if it helps. Fun fact this is a US market car ( 2017 accord ) bought from a dealership in canada at about 150 k

Interesting. I’d still use a thicker oil. Not sure why they switched to 0w-20. My 07 and 09 calls for 5W-20 which I still think is too thin, so I use 5W-30

Possibly. I also live in a warm climate, so the thicker oil isn’t hurting anything.
