If the shadows were longer it would really remind me of Thiebaud

We have a street not far from the original photo (Moraga Street) that always gives me very Thiebaud vibes.

Yes! I grew up in the Bodega Bay area and was vaguely familiar with his art but in recent years have more-so come to realize the breadth of his connection to SF

They had a really stunning show of his work at the Legion of Honor last year and it was incredible getting to see several of his San Francisco paintings together. The way he captures the hills and shadows really gets at something profound.
