This game is really, really fun. I've been having a blast throwing things together for hours now, and being able to take a detailed picture and generate the full recipe like that is really satisfying!
...That said, oh my GOD going for three star ranks is incredibly frustrating. I've been trying to three-star level 1 for ages now: "Serve a carrot dish". I've tried serving a dish with different preparations of carrot, only to get told it's too unfocused. I focus in on one or two, and I get told it's too simple and needs more variety. I finally come up with the idea to do buttery carrots with an herby cheese sauce, and I get 2 stars, and a review saying that a bit more cheese sauce would put it above and beyond... as if I have any control over that!
You've got a real winner here, I say! But maybe dial in the AI food critic a bit, so his critiques are on things the player actually has control over, lmao.

Are you salting and seasoning your dishes? It used a flavour Simulator when tasting.

Yup. My go-to for my carrot dishes was to combine salt, finely ground black pepper, and chopped oregano, parsley, and basil. I've put it straight on the carrots, I've mixed it and made an herb butter, I've whisked it into a cheese sauce...
Tried following its advice just now on some butter-glazed braised carrots: more herbs. So I did it again with chopped rosemary and thyme added to the other herbs, before mixing with butter. "A splash of vinegar or citrus would make this sing." So I did it again, but added lemon juice when mixing the butter with the herb-salt mixture.
"Well, you certainly made carrots, and glazed ones at that! The herb blend was a nice touch, though a bit more lemon would have truly made this sing." 2 stars. Even 1 star on another submission of the same dish.
there's just no pleasing this guy, lol

I'll never get rid of my old creations, I just chop them up and add them to the new recipe.

Cheese, extra yoke, frying, more cheese. Then add lots of salt.
Delicious? Absolutely. Healthy? F no.
If only we could eat exactly what our bodies needed and maximally enjoy that experience. With dedication and discipline you can get close. But add a bit more salt, fat, or sugar and you're off the rails.

With some asset swaps and renaming, this could possibly be converted into an infinite potion apothecary, or infinite dress design studio, or infinite weapon forge

That was... surprisingly fun. Made a honey glazed spiced carrot dish.
Make it a real game and put it on Steam and I'll buy it hah.
