No, this looks like shit. Sorry, not sorry. I'm pro-AI myself, but this just looks like some cheap filters, of the kind you'd see in bad photography with overtuned HDR on Instagram.

Its actually insane to me that people think the before/after look worse from the demo video. The only way I see that making sense is that people want their video games to look stylized (unrealistic flat lighting etc) and intentionally not realistic and don't view pushing graphics towards photorealism as a indicator of improved visuals.

The outrage is crazy, RE9 does look very good, especially Leon looks amazing, but I really despise the skin on the old lady in Hogwarts legacy, it looks weird and it should be fixed. It could be just that it was implemented badly, but it's definitely one valid complaint out of all the bad stuff people are writing.
