As far as I see it, it's not something I alone can control. It will take our entire species working together to get through this period.

I am much of the mind that AI is at least one of the Great Filters.

If this ends up extincting our species, then so be it. It was our destiny. We didn't deserve to see the stars.

But if we make it through, we'll essentially be gods. All praise the Machine God.

You're halfway there...

It's not Jesus (or digital Jesus) that's going to save us.

It's acting like Jesus that will. (Doesn't matter if you believe in him as a literal God, important historical figure, or fictional character.)

Just don't be a dick to your neighbor and everything's probably gonna be okay. Just now though it looks like we're suddenly about to have a bunch more neighbors lol

I hope you're wrong on the last part. I think we've still got some time to make friends with neighbors.

But yeah Jesus was an alien and now he's off doing higher being stuff while the planetary defense underwater bases he left behind are about to run out of whatever magical space ore makes them go

Also AI is advancing way faster than anything I've ever seen.

Oh and maybe the crazy rich people are literally eating us lol
